Bright & Shiny

In collaboration with The Mosaic Group Designer Stephanie Ives of Custom Dwellings enjoyed working with the easygoing owners of this Atlanta Chastain Park home to bring a new look to their master bedroom and bathroom. The clients were ready for an update, especially to the finishes and fixtures in the room. Now, the built-in tub is a thing of the past, replaced with an elegant, free-standing Empire tub. The nickel wall sconces and showerhead are bright and modern, and the large Medici limestone tiles used for the floors, shower walls and shower bench are designed to be beautiful and easy to clean. The main goals of the project were to make the bathroom more practical and to add storage space. Plenty of built-in towel bars and custom-made cabinetry fit the bill. The mirrored front design of the cabinets and the free-standing tub help make the bathroom feel more spacious, and the overall result is a space that is efficient not only for getting ready in the mornings, but also for relaxing in the tub at the end of a long day.
